Hürriyet Gazetesi yazarı Doğan Hızlan bugünkü (19.1.2009 Salı) köşesinde, 3. Çiçeği Burnunda Karikatürcüler Adana Buluşması"nı yazdı:

"USTALARINI UNUTMADILAR

OĞUZ ARAL’ın Çiçeği Burnunda Karikatürcüleri, 3. kez buluştu Adana’da.

Buluşmada, Cihan Demirci’nin, “Mizahımızın Alayköşkü: GIRGIR Dergisi” isimli Gırgır Dergisi’nin tarihini anlatan sunumuyla başlamışlar.

Karikatürcüler Mizah Festivali’nde daha sonra Gırgır Dergisi’nde Oğuz Aral’ın sekreterliğini yapmış Mevhibe Turay, dergiye dair anılarını anlatmış.

Bu yılın “Onur Ödülü” Gırgır’ın usta çizeri, çizgi roman ustası İlban Ertem’e verildi.

Bir meslekten olanların ustalarını unutmaması, onu her zaman yazdıklarıyla, çizdikleriyle gündeme getirmesi, sanatta kuşaklararası devamlılığın sağlanması açısından her zaman yapılması gereken bir davranıştır."
